I am not from Indiana but come to the area often, and have recently been checking out all local coffee shops. This one is by far my favorite. The customer service was great and friendly. The atmosphere in the building and the overall theme was awesome. I am a huge connoisseur of coffee and have been to 20+ coffee shops and the coffee alone blew my mind and is very unique flavor wise, even if you get a basic flavor like white chocolate.

My husband and I stopped into Java for the first time. We each had a breakfast croissant and it was so good! The croissant was so buttery and the thick cut bacon was delicious. It was quite busy but the staff were very nice and attentive. I can’t wait to eat there again. Highly recommend!

While doing a book tour in the area I stayed at a hotel close to this coffee shop and it was so great I went there 3 out of the 4 mornings I was here. The coffee and breakfasts were great, nice atmosphere great service. My uncle was with me each time and we were able to sit for hours each morning to plan our days while enjoying their great coffee cup after cup - I really love this place and wish I had a coffee shop life this where I live. I will go back anytime I'm staying in downtown south bend.

Great food great drinks great service as always. Love the avocado toast always fresh. My Girl had the Carmel matcha for the first time she loved it. Most definitely can catch a vibe at Java

Super cute and delicious coffee. You're going to choke a little when you see the price, but I promise, it IS that delicious. Comfy chairs, can be a smidge crowded at times, especially since people will park themselves at a table with their laptops. But definitely work a stop for a yummy coffee, especially if you're looking for a better atmosphere and more comfortable chairs than chocolate cafe (which I still love, but, it has limitations)

I love this place. The baristas are so good. The furniture is of good quality. And the coffee! The coffee, my friends, is top-shelf. I cannot claim to have a professional's taste but I am a millennial snob about coffee. And this coffee is good, really good. Try anything, but get the mocha.

Cute cafe, got the avocado toast to go and it was a great breakfast. Nice and cozy, would be fun to sit and enjoy the atmosphere.

Stopped here to do some work after a flight and was happily surprised. The crossaint breakfast sandwhich was large and packed with eggs (cooked great) and very large and thick slices of bacon. It wasn't crowded at all. The drinks were good too, good flavor and not too sweet. Their chocolate chip cookie was also amazing and I'm a harsh critic of cookies. Very happy!

This place has an incredible atmosphere and awesome products! I had the delicious croissant breakfast sandwich and a sugar cookie latte that was so big I couldn’t get both my hands around the cup! I definitely recommend it as a good spot to work or study. The environment is modern and elegant and at night it transforms into Sidebar, a sleek place for quiet conversations and fun drinks. 10/10 recommend!

Java Cafe has been one of our most popular places for quick marketing meetings. The atmosphere is always great and the food is fresh and delicious. Definitely recommend!
